In the middle of our busy, stressful, noisy lives hearing our Spiritual Guidance can be almost impossible to do. One thing’s for sure though; Spiritual Guidance is loving, kind, empowering and positive. It is never judgmental, critical, or negative. If you’re hearing messages like ‘you idiot’! ‘typical of your selfish behaviour,’ or ‘you’re simply not good enough…’ wherever that voice comes it’s not Spirit! 

Hearing spiritual guidance is a bit like tuning in an old-style transistor radio; you must have good reception to receive a clear connection. The frequency our Spirit Guides communicate on means that our receptivity must be open and clear. If we need to stand on one leg on top of the fridge to get a connection then we’re unlikely to sustain Spirit’s frequency for long. The effort we make to hear our Guides should be simple and straightforward. If we try and communicate and don’t receive a response that’s not because Spirit isn’t communicating; it’s just that we’re not quite on their frequency yet. We need to persevere, keep tuning in, adjusting our receptivity, and have a bit of patience.

Being open to receiving spiritual guidance also needs to be a completely unconditional process. Their messages arrive in all types of packaging and we need to be open to deciphering the signs. They don’t mean to be cryptic but they’re very aware of how we live and learn, what we’re receptive to and what we’re likely to miss. You never need to search high and low for your Spirit Guide’s communication, it will literally be there in front of you if you have the presence of mind and the focus to see it. They will find a way to communicate but we need to let them through.

Number plates, overheard conversations, books found on public transport, messages called out over microphones in supermarkets, wedding bells…these are just a few of the ways I have heard that our Guides have communicated with us through signs that are meaningful. 

Sometimes we need to help Spirit along with a little psychic nudge. If you worry that you haven’t been heard then ask your question again and you will eventually find your answer.

And remember to recall all the times when you thought something was a coincidence. Sure, there may well have been moments when it was just pure luck…maybe; but Spirit are 100% more responsive than we think and I can guarantee if you put aside your suspicions or your tendency to believe in coincidences you may be pleasantly surprised to recall just how many times your Guides have stepped in and responded or taken over the reins completely, flipped a situation over for you and guided you along an unparalleled pathway of benevolent success.

Spirit Guides work on the premise that we believe and trust our connection to them. They know we’re cynical and can be hard to please, but they don’t mind, they won’t give up on us - maybe we shouldn’t give up on them either.
